Bista Lab

The group is based at the Senckenberg Research Institute and Natural History Museum and the Center for Translational Biodiversity Genomics (TBG) in Frankfurt, and is part of the Genomic Biomonitoring project area.

We work on a wide range of Meta-OMICS and Biodiversity Genomics projects, using high-throughput sequencing for biodiversity monitoring and whole genome data for the study of genomic adaptations to extreme environments.

We are looking for a Postdoc to join our group in Frankfurt. The position is suitable for a person with a background in comparative or population genomics to work on an ongoing project aiming to investigate species adaptation to extreme environments using newly generated genome data.
